MATCH SETUP PROCEDURES |
Coaches will contact the teams that they would like to play by selecting a team that is listed on the registered list and contacting the coach directly.
Once a date and time are agreed upon, one of the coaches will need to fill out and submit a “Match/Game Request Form.”
Match sites and times are not confirmed until BOTH teams have made their respective deposit payments. Please do not delay!
Exact sites and times can be changed up until the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Match sites will be listed in advance and can be found on the “Tennis Matches” web page. |

MATCH PLAY PROCEDURES |
NCAA and USTA rules will govern play in all of the intercollegiate matches. The coaches will be responsible for the overall administration of the matches and will monitor all the players to insure that proper conduct both on and off the courts are observed.
All official matches will consist of three doubles and six singles matches with regular scoring. If time permits, you may play other exhibition matches.
Doubles will consist of 8-game pro-sets with a 12 point tie-breaker used at 8-8. Singles matches are the best of 3 sets with 12 point tie-breakers used at 8-8.
If there are 4 teams playing at a particular site, 2 teams will be asked to start doubles first and then field their singles matches as courts open up. The other 2 teams will start their 6 singles matches and then field their doubles matches as courts become available. The coaches will be notified who should begin with doubles and who should begin with singles.
In the event of lightning, TCSPS will ask all play to stop when the flash-to-bang time is 30 seconds or less. Some facilities will have lightning sirens which if the siren sounds, all play stops immediately and everyone on the playing field takes shelter. There will be no deviations from this policy.
If at any time a coach feels the need to speak with one of the directors of TCSPS about any aspect of their experience while at the invitational, please feel free to do so.

COACHES' RESPONSIBILITIES |
Coaches must make sure that their teams arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match or practice time is to begin. Teams need to be respectful of others who may be finishing a match.
Coaches must make sure that they get their match out on the courts. All of the facilities are on a very tight schedule. Each match has an official half- hour warm-up time and if 4 courts are available, 4 hours to complete the match. If 6 courts are available, 3 hours are available to complete the match.
At the conclusion of the match, coaches need to be aware of the next match coming out to play. Coaches must make sure that their players clean up the courts after their match and leave the court area respecting the next match.

"OFFICIAL" WILSON BALL |
Treasure Coast Spring Break Sports has partnered with the best overall sports company in the world, Wilson Sporting Goods. All teams will use Wilson heavy duty balls in their matches.
Game balls are included in the team fee, so teams do not need to bring their own balls for the matches. However, practice balls are not provided. |
