FAST PITCH SOFTBALL GAME PROCEDURES
GAME SETUP PROCEDURES
Coaches will contact the teams they would like to play by selecting a team that is listed on the registered list and contacting the coach directly.

Once a date and time are agreed upon, one of the coaches must fill out and submit a “Match/Game Request Form.”

Game sites and times are not confirmed until BOTH teams have made their respective deposit payments. Please do not delay!

Exact sites and times can be changed up until the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Game sites will be listed in advance and can be found on the “Fast Pitch Softball Games” web page.
GAME PLAY PROCEDURES
NCAA guidelines/rules will be in effect for all games.

Each team will have the ability to warm-up before the start of each doubleheader. The TCSPS staff will do its best to keep to the NCAA guidelines regarding practice times. However, TCSPS staff have the right to modify practice times based upon the overall schedule at the facility. Great efforts will be made to make sure that all teams have adequate practice time before the start of the game.

Each game will consist of 7 innings and the home team will be designated by the TCSPS scheduling coordinator. The eight-run rule will be in effect for all games played. There will be a 15 minute break between games.

The NCAA guidelines regarding game management and pregame protocol will be followed in all games. Again, some changes may be made based on extenuating circumstances.

TCSPS has employed umpires who have had extensive experience at the collegiate and tournament levels. The umpires are instructed to utilize the NCAA rules for all games.

In the event of lightning, TCSPS will ask all play to stop when the flash-to-bang time is 30 seconds or less. Some facilities have lightning sirens. If the siren sounds, all play stops immediately and everyone on the playing field takes shelter. There will be no deviations from this policy.

If at any time a coach feels the need to speak with one of the directors of TCSPS about any aspect of their experience while at the invitational, please feel free to do so.
COACHES' RESPONSIBILITIES
Coaches must make sure that their teams arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of any scheduled game. Efforts will be made to make sure that teams have adequate warm-up time before the start of each game.

Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their team both during play as well as when their team is not competing. TCSPS staff and the staff at the facilities that are being used expect that the collegiate players handle themselves in a manner becoming of their team and university.

At the conclusion of the game, coaches need to help facilitate the next game coming out and quickly remove players and equipment from the team sidelines.
"OFFICIAL" WILSON BALL
Treasure Coast Spring Break Sports has partnered with the best overall sports company in the world, Wilson Sporting Goods. All of the games will use a NCAA approved collegiate Wilson fast pitch softball.

Game balls are included in the team fee, so teams do not need to bring their own balls for the matches. However, practice balls are not provided.
